Calera Dental Center is currently welcoming and accepting new patients. If you do not have dental insurance, please be prepared to pay in full for services rendered on the date of your appointment. When you call to make your first appointment, our front office staff will be happy to assist you by giving you an estimate over the phone so that you can know what to expect to pay for your initial visit. After you see one of our dentists, she will carefully go over a treatment plan with you to make sure that you understand each stage of your planned treatment and the costs that will be involved before moving forward.
If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card (and your benefit booklet, if possible) to your appointment. That way, our office staff will have the information they need to verify your dental benefits and assist you in dertermining the co-pays or deductibles that will be due at your appointment.
Both Dr. Ford and Dr. Rigsby are preferred providers with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. Although they are considered out-of-network with all other providers, we will be happy to assist you by filing your primary dental insurance claims for you. If you have secondary insurance with a company other than Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, we will assist you by providing the instructions you need to file your secondary claims and then their payments should come to you.
If you are a patient of Dr. Jean O’Neal, please be aware that she is considered out-of-network with all dental insurance companies. Please be prepared to pay in full for your services. We will still file your claims for you but the payment (if any) will be sent to you.
Method of Payment: We accept cash, checks, money orders, American Express, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and Care Credit.
